Any insiders in HarryE can share their views on the fallout, if any, from the FLA termination? Any assocs disappointed by the perceived fall in prestige after HarryE loses the Eversheds branding? Thinking of jumping ship?

There was never any prestige to begin with. Most of the HarryE partners never heard of Eversheds before the merger.

the other way round you mean? Eversheds is a silver circle firm and has had an office in Singapore since the 90s.
Maybe not elite MC level prestige, but since most local firms are desperate to latch onto any sliver of prestige afforded by tying up with an int'l firm, surely that must have some effect.
I've seen so many misguided or clueless junior assocs or trainess-to-be beam with pride when they say they're in or going to some JLV/FLA tie-up. They don't know ****, because local firm is local firm and you can't put lipstick on a pig.

Why is this forum filled with counterproductive content that shows bitterness as of recent days...

Go overseas in an attempt to beat the odds rather than stay in Singapore and be part of selection bias.

Spend 200K knowing that most MCs/SCs/US only hire from Oxbridge and LSE unless you're the token diversity?
After Theresa May and Brexit and Covid-19?
The fact is the lower tiers cannot get to NUS
