Err thought the asker’s question was for views of how to balance longer term aspirations/rewards versus short term trials. Thought the forum posters have sound n valid advice coz most of these posters give practical, not general, views based on their experience from practice.
Agree with the responses to OP’s question.

The level of detail in this question makes one concerned why it is even being asked and hope that the affidavit in question is thoroughly checked!

It is extensive. Just google for the news reports. Better to just declare any wrongdoings in the affidavit. You can run but you cannot hide. MinLaw and AGC have an infinite amount of time to do background checks. Just because you get called doesn’t mean they can’t go after you later and publish your names in the papers. Face the music now or later.

You prob applied and looked at in house for work life balance considerations rite?
If so, it’s for you to balance whether you think you can make partner plus the corresponding workload and hours
Your senior associate now?

Which of the B4 or B5 pays the best overall for a 2 PQE? Currently at one of the b4 firms specialising in transactional work. Lateraled in 2021 from a mid tier corp firm after being called but recently realised my package is the lowest among my peers and even lower than some of my ex-colleagues after taking bonuses into account. Although the firm i am currently in is a good stepping stone for bigger gigs, i don’t see myself joining the intl firms anytime soon since spots have dried up. Should I stay?

Seems like your name will still get published even if you declare now

Doesn’t it really depends on so many factors like size of your law firm, local or international bank/firm…
Pls don’t enter law just for the money!
