SAL arrears
Hello i received a letter of demand from SAL for arrears, which have been unpaid since 2018.
Any kind souls here know what will happen if i continue to ignore their demands? Have been in-house since 2017 and have never once used their service or logged in to their portal.

Lol I think industry wide many people have been receiving these letters in the past few weeks.
This is not how you treat ex private practice colleagues. Most of us have not benefitted a single bit from SAL membership since we've moved in house. The continual imposition of fees is preposterous.

Omg same, in-house here since 2016 and just received this. What are you guys gonna do about it? It’s a couple of hundred bucks but as a matter of principle I don’t think we should be paying this? I haven’t gotten any benefit as a member at all? Are they really gonna sue all of us?

Why should we pay for a membership that's imposed on us with no way to withdraw? We don't derive any benefits from it.
Do you advise your clients to pay for things they don't get anything out of?

Don’t intend to pay. As you’ve alluded to, they are welcome to sue for a couple hundred bucks.
