What’s your salary in this case? Heard of cases who got through agent and getting paid lesser than the standard route.

Got an speak to those hired to do consulting (consulting development analyst, consulting development snr analyst, mgmt consultant, mgmt consulting assoc manager and so on) see what they’re job scope is before clattering all into “consulting”.
So many business and integration analyst wanna be in consulting really lol sia, even one who’s hired as bus and integration arch analyst puts himself as strategy and consulting on LinkedIn like huh???
Bro that cos everyone wants to be in consulting - but turns out actually it’s doing change mgmt

You need to give more context bah, what’s your exact offered job title? And which function in S&C are you offered? Work life depends on the above, so provide more details then people can advise. Anyway what’s your idea on big 4 work life? With higher pay that Accenture offers than that of big 4, commitment required would definitely be greater.

Change mgmt is 1/6 of the subsections in consulting under S&C. Only consulting analyst and other levels in consulting track aka those who are hired to do consulting work (as stated under your talent segment in your contract/your acn job title) are doing consulting work as well as change management. Think you may have misunderstood the op, the op is saying those who are hired as non consulting roles such as business and integration analyst put themselves as consulting analyst and under S&C when business and integration belongs to technology function. Now under TAP, there’s one or two business and integration analyst belonging to the change mgmt pod, but they don’t belong to S&C and are not hired for consulting so even if one project is doing change mgmt role, they won’t be doing consulting roles all the way. As compared to a consulting analyst that’s hired for consulting track, they are the real consulting analysts.

Reason why majority of consulting analysts, snr analysts, mgmt consultants are doing change mgmt in projects, one big reason is cos acn sells more change mgmt projects and majority of projects require change mgmt component. Consulting hires are those with the closest skillsets and alignment to change and hence, they are put to change mgmt for such projects. Change mgmt is a part of consulting under S&C and pretty much the fundamental or basics here. Can look back at a couple few pages where a few consulting hires have shared more on this. Consulting hires can also take on strategy roles and that’s one benefit for those who are hired for consulting as compared to tech, but guess those in tech roles are cos that’s where their skillsets and passion lies.

$3.2k including allowance, a few others I talked to received the same but joined directly.
We're all Level 13, starting from the bottom as diploma holders.

If I'm not wrong, I think I recall that the program is 5 years and the speculation was that you're promoted yearly for the first 3 years (to Level 10), then the next promotion is after 2 years (to Level 9).

Oh TAP is for fresh grads and 3 years. I guess for a diploma holder, 3.2k is considered pretty good alr. For TAP only hired directly and doesn’t go through agent. In this case for yourself, maybe you can calculate and see if it’s more worth for you to do a degree but assuming you perform well and get promoted then maybe can match the pay in the years to come bah

3.2k is pretty bad... no offence but aren't you the guy who talked bad about other programs? how can you say such thing when you are literally earning less than the average degree holder fresh grad pay....

again no offence, just trying to figure out what was your rationale

Yo bro I’m not the one lmao… Accenture’s pay is already considered rather good, you come in with 4.9k and after 1/1.5 yrs, your earn 5.4K, after 1 year, 5.7-5.9k and the next year, 6.1-6.3k, once you’re 3 years in you’re a team lead/consultant and you earn 7k++ a year. Consultants in management consulting under S&C earn slightly more than the technology and operations counterparts. Of course if you compare with MBB, IB those kind then salary is not as good lah, but it’s a lot better than your what dbs, ocbc, uob pay eh??
