Also you talk about DBS, are you referring to their SEED program? That's the only tech program I know that some of my uni mates went to. I believe their pay is 5.5k and it's a dumping ground for non-cs kids. Typically most of the CS grads who go there are washed cs grads but still capable enough to coast through the first year of the program without doing much since it's mostly learning period.
Nonetheless, their 5.5k is still better than this 4.9k. Their workload is also a lot easier ( I'm speaking in a CS grad POV btw not a non-dev kid )
I have friends in the Accenture program and it's a lot more work than DBS so no, 4.9k is not better than DBS. It might be a bit better than UOB's 4.5k 1 year program but that comes with a 10k bonus after completion so again, do the math and it's still not better...
If you can counter argue without ad hominem attacks like that crazy "PwningMoron" user ( lol who creates an account just to insult people? Crazy... ), I'll be more than happy to discuss. Otherwise I'll just move on. I just want people to know that there are better places to go so unless you're specifically big on IT Consulting, there's plenty of great tech jobs that are not even FAANG level, let alone medium tech level with better WLB, pay progression, etc.

Lols. I think you got the focus wrong. No one joins accenture to focus on technical work. If coding is your thing, there are better options out there for sure

Thanks, but it only can be used from sept onwards right? Then for the month of august, the old broker won’t cover new joiners?

The old broker still can be used till end of August.
New broker = Either when you get your details or when it starts in Sept
So,
Worst case for new joiners = waiting till Sept for new broker to be usable
Best case = Either get your old broker details asap or be able to use new broker from mid-Aug onwards.

I see I see thanks pal! So new joiners should still receive the old broker’s details but depends on when they receive it in this case.

Hello, just to check is there a minimum gpa or like what class of honours to get to be in talent advancement program? Because I got a pass classification only but have internships, leadership and cca experiences. Gpa got pulled down due to my second year. I know it’s my mistakes but I wanted to check if there’s anyone who got a pass cert in Accenture and have done well in their job? Like does the degree affect your promotion also? Thanks in advance

Realised if you’re under Strategy or management consulting you can do project roles that are interchangeable. Interesting find in the internal portal where many management consulting hires have business strategy analyst roles that are usually taken up by the strategy analysts, and in fact quite a good number of strategy analyst doing BA, change role, even developer roles in projects other than their own strategy analyst roles. Seems like being hired for strategy or consulting belonging to S&C not that bad, got chance to do not strategy and consulting roles, even tech roles. But hired as tech analyst belonging under technology can’t do consulting or let alone strategy roles.
Have a colleague who’s business and integration delivery senior analyst, tried asking if he can switch to consulting roles and be under S&C instead cos he wanted consulting and thought was easy to switch internally. Answer was a flat reject. Guess doing an internal switch not easy ah

Is this common?! Our project asks us to charge our hours a portion of it to project BD and it affected my chargeability wts. Yet I’m doing work on the project but monthly a portion of my hours are charged to BD. Anyone knows why is this so?
