good mentorship or something?

The pay is actually not bad. Other common tech companies like St Engineering pay like 3.8k, HP, Dell etc pay like 4.5k too.
I rather join a big name like Accenture than other similar paying trash name companies.

In case you didn't know, Dell was mass hiring SWE this year for 6/7k basic pay.

I'm talking about fresh grad pay 6/7k at Dell, my friend don't even have IT related degree and got the role. You see those numbers immediately assume mid level/senior?

No I assume you're ********ting the moment you said Dell is mass hiring and referenced your friend not having IT related degree when CS and IT are completely two different things and SWE minimum requirement is a CS degree not a IT degree lol.
So let's cut the ******** and go back to topic. Your friend can be a millionaire for all anyone here cares.

hey im the guy who asked about accenture's catch
i believe youre working there right, how is it like? im currently at a large SAAS company and the work i do is absolutely boring... its mostly on-call duty and keeping services up, honestly im thinking of trying for accenture because i think a while back someone said there's interesting dev projects but the talks about working over public holiday etc scares me lol

hey there im not the guy who mentioned Dell originally, but chiming in to say that i actl applied for Dell as well as a SWE and managed to secure an interview with just an engineering degree.
The part where Dell is mass hiring fresh grad SWE is true
You are mistaken if a CS degree is a compulsory factor in screening candidates. Dont let your lack of CS degrees be an excuse to not learn the fundamentals of SWE - data structures and algorithms, OSI model etc. (which is the true min requirement) If mid career switchers can do it, you have no excuse not to. CS degree or not.
