GEO3 to GEO4 in 2 years possible but rare liao. It's the pay that red flag. Impossible to be above 6k even if u A grade in that 1 year when u don't get default C. Unless u mid career switch and already late 30s or something. Then must say. If not so quite misleading ah.

During the pay revision, geo 3s got a 10% adjustment, and they get another 10% promotion increment if they promote this year.
Those who promoted to geo4 during covid, promotion increment was reduced to around 6-7%, and only received a 5% adjustment during last year's pay revision.

Talk about bad luck. And no readjustment for this either.

I don't think this is troll coz it was 2018 to 2021 that he got promoted. Mine was a bit faster and I got a C+ instead of the default C.

2022 - salary revision 5%
2023 - Internal appointment LH

C and C+ in the default year, no difference one. Just a bit more money to recognise efforts. It won't make your advancement faster than that C dude. Both of yall above average already. But his pay probably still higher than yours right cos you 4YOE he 6YOE.

Anyway I don't think we are saying that one is troll. It is the dude that just puts GEO4 in 3 years, PGDE, but 6.1k. That one is troll. The timeline is impossible. Unless he comes and explain himself with details.
