There is work during the school holidays too. Who is going to do the planning for next year?

A lot of the planning is done by KPs by the way. The same KPs that get bashed for being lazy and not deserving of their salaries btw

As long as you have done your part teaching, if students don’t want to pay attention, so be it. It is the students who need to have more discipline.

What is the MOE grading equivalent for MX13(I) and MX14? GEO5 will get the extra $$$ from the EOY bonus?

So...those who travel yearly MUST be teachers? Then other professions hardly travel I guess?
Since it's so perfect to you, how come YOU are not a teacher? Can't get in? Or got cold feet halfway and resigned?
Salty max. Be careful of hypertension.

Let's use a truly average person then
Starting salary= 3900
Year 1 (cohort promotion) 3900 +700 =4600
Year 2-6 (annual MI) = 4600 +(200 x5) =5600
Where is the maxing the salary cap in 4-6 years come about? I'm here using numbers to show how it's not possible for an "average person". So for the people claiming that an "average person" can max in 5-6 years with a C grade, show your working pls.

Why must use FCH?
Because the intake these days is almost exclusively scholars.
And scholars typically have FCH or second upper. These are your new 'average' teachers.
Already excluded the crème de la crème overseas scholars

Also, prior to last year's salary review, the GEO3 ceiling was around 5600.
You just showed the math.
After the salary review, although the ceiling was raised, so was the starting salary. So the intervals before reaching the cap is roughly still the same.
