GEO3 for a few years already. No promotion this year. Transferred to new sch via open posting. Given opportunity to take up LH internal next year.
Given that my promotion is so slow compared to the people who have been sharing here, I don’t believe my cep or leadership potential is high. Why will they be asking a low ranked GEO3 like me to take up this position..?

And if you don't, getting that promotion within three years is also awesomely fast! Don't get fixated on promotion as it isn't a reward. As some have mentioned, it means having to meet high KRAs which you may not be ready to take on too. Find fulfillment in other areas too besides promotion and monetary increment.

Did you serve NS?

Based on current climate, 6 years (geo2 to 3) for ordinary teacher from PGDE or BA.

This is a good opportunity to move towards quick promotion if you can shine in the new portfolio. Good luck.
