For Pri Schools, LH no. Because the department will be small.

SH is possible but really depends on whether the workload can amount to SH work or not. From your 2 examples. ICT definitely have SH. e-Ped for primary schools I am sure don't have yet. Because the scope is super small. Maybe Secondary Schools will have better chance of having such a position crafted because they have more HBLs etc. But pretty sure an SH ICT will already be covering e-Ped because it is part of ICT.

It just boils down to whether is there a need for an SH/LH to come out to share the load with HOD or to provide that subject expertise. For example, CCE used to not have SH/HOD but as the whole notion became bigger, more things to do and handle, slowly from having SH, to become HOD, to become both SH and HOD (and linking CCE to NE or even SS under their charge)

In my school, there are SH positions like SH Data Management (which does all the result analysis, cockpit, data processing etc.). But some schools don't. So again, it depends.

Based on what I am looking at, I don't think the 2 time periods you mentioned are included. If not, the YOE here is way too low to justify the pay that they are getting.

Moving forward, I think to standardise, let's just ensure all future contributions do not include the time periods above, and for guys, to not include the NS period of 2 years as well.

So purely, counting from the year entering the school as a graduated full-fledged teacher, and the gross salary, and current rank

Why, look at the other examples who are at Geo4 or 5. Quite possible that this GEO3 person is an average or slightly below average performer. Why should promotion be guaranteed for such an individual?

Geo 4, male, 8 years, 6.1k only.

Got geo4 during covid. Lose out on pay revision and promotion increment.
During the pay revision, geo 3s got a 10% adjustment, and they get another 10% promotion increment if they promote this year.
Those who promoted to geo4 during covid, promotion increment was reduced to around 6-7%, and only received a 5% adjustment during last year's pay revision.

I also got GEO4 during COVID leh but mine is ok. Similar to one of the examples above.

2017 Jun - GEO 2 (4.1k) (N.A.)
2018 Oct - GEO 3 (4.8k) C
2019 - 4.9k B
2020 - 5.1k A
2021 Apr - GEO 4 (5.56k)
2022 - 6k B
2023 - 6.2k

6.2k after the most recent merit increment. Also around 6th to 7th year.

Maybe you chart your progress out and see which part differed?
