i have a couple of contacts, current MOE teachers ranging from 8 to 10 years in the ministry, and they each draw a salary of at least 10k base, not including their generous annual bonus, performance bonus, connect plan, etc.

Actually a lot of variations depending on the ranked grade (because it affects merit increment etc.) So while this is a good generic range guide, still have to factor in many things even if you fit in exactly to one of the examples above

I am a SH, male, 8yrs, GEO5,7.5K. Bt compared with my peers, my salary is really quite low.

The one who got 5a in my school has been getting C+s and Cs. This year she got a B, then got promoted to 5a. The rest of the GEO5s who's been getting Cs did not get promoted.
