Audit a lot weird ppl. The job is their life. These are the ppl who can do the same thing for 30 40 years.

Notable decline in grades and intake starting around 2020. Decreasing interest in accounting compared to comp science and comp engineering majors.
Hey thanks for sharing this, quite insightful.

I was feeling quite puzzled why got posters come out claimed they studied hard cause to me accounting is a low-tier course in terms of popularity and prospects. We're here because we didn't study THAT hard (but not that we are lazy either)

But 2015 also almost 10 years ago already, what are they doing here lol

I guess we are all easily affected by the news narrative.

At least for my batch, I don't think any of the top scorers will consider working 9am to 8pm for 3k a month when Tech offers 5k 6k starting salary, and you need almost 5 years to achieve that here.

Hahaha chill bro. Don't worry la. Thot ISCA alrdy say will have gd news for acca grad this year? MRA also good ah, better than dun have leh. Look at those AAA or AAB or AAC local uni grads that have no exemptions or at most 1 exemption for Tax paper. These ppl pushed themselves hard into uni instead of supporting cpa aus which was perceived to be less prestigious back then. Now end up have the shorter end of the stick if they are still staying in this industry. So they not only don't vote PAP sia, may be leave the country and migrate to bolehland liao ah?

Hi! Not the poster of this IGP list but I'm so shocked with this comparison list which is the 1st time I saw. Okie, may be cause I didn't really go google on that but just keep hearing things about IGP and intake drop for NTU Acc till quite bad over the years. The MOF news saying drop in intake by 10%. From this list look like drop by >40% sia lolol. Seriously???

The exit opportunities don't seem as good as before. Looking back, it might not be worth starting a career in audit or this SCAQ.

This SCAQ is a joke. Wet dreams about accountancy hub then came up an idea to set its own paper to call it "The Prestigious". Whole industry go downhill already, nvm... Just give some exemptions to pacify new grads or sign whatever mra/rma w other jokers that capitalised on this dying unpopular sunset industry. Then continue to call it prestigious. Waste everyone time and money.

What’s your source for ISCA talking about ACCA?

I never hear such thing despite always reading accounting news.
