As for the GenZ thinking they can change things, did they even look at their own batch's attrition rate? At this rate, none will be left and the managers in 6 years time will be 100% imported. I've never seen such a wave of resignations before they hit the 6 months mark, let alone the 1 year mark.

Most locals will leave before reaching manager. You can check the IGP profile for NTU accountancy (aka B4 manufacturer). There are fewer intakes every year, not just at NTU but also in other local universities. There might not be many locals working for the Big 4 in the future. Also b4s are already hiring across borders. so it's not new. It's bound to increase in the future.
NTU Accountancy intake
2016/2017 618
2017/2018 611
2018/2019 541
2019/2020 507
2020/2021 481
2021/2022 414 (potential A1)
2022/2023 352 (potential A1)
2023/2024 357 (potential A1)

By 2030, Gen Z will make up approximately 30 percent of the workforce.
We will takeover and become your managers and senior managers. We will run the show. We will change the world.

Nice. 😂 What specific plans do you have in mind for the takeover?

I’m not OP but if I am in charge I will do the following:
1. Increase starting salaries to match market median pay. Around 4.5k for A1 with 1 to 3 months bonus depending on performance.
2. Enforce strict 9 to 6 working hours. No weekends, no public holidays. Annual leave will be full shut down mode.
3. Abolish double or triple assignments. Everyone should be full time on 1 client at a time from start to end.
4. Make professional exams optional. Extra bonus for those who voluntarily want to take them.
5. Increase annual leave to 21 days, with extra 1 day per year of service, capped at 28 days.
6. Permit work from home 50% of total working days in a month.
7. 2 way taxi fare fully covered to and back from client.
8. All department bonding events should be purely voluntary.

Sounds good but FYI, SM do not have the power to enact any of the above.

I think my firm has also realised offshoring is not a good plan and instead looking towards AI. You can tell by the number of initiatives to transform all work papers into standard ones, likely for AI to be doing the work. Unfortunate for those involved in this process, they will help the firm set this up nicely and then get replaced by AI.
