No other way than sacrificing sleep. Anyone who tells you they did it through "better time management" or "enhance understanding" is smoking you, no way anyone can do that with 2-3 separate engagements under their belt at the same time. It's not like we can automate things either thanks to the janky audit softwares.

Why do auditors need to lead multiple projects at the same time? Don't you guys work on billable hour basis?

"billable hours" is for internal tracking of "profitability" only. we bill clients based on a fixed feel-good figure, u work 100 hours or 200 hours also no difference in billed figure. not like lawyers work longer hours then ur invoice bigger.

normally they let junior associate charge more to show that they are generating revenue for the firm. But you know la the fee is alr fixed. They just do it to grow the firm headcount
