But in the end get called out for being a fake, get insulted etc.

Why would I take satisfaction in sharing a fake salary? Isn't that the worst thing someone can do?

To me it's super demoralizing to share something fake that you know you never did achieve. It's not yours, at the end of the day you have nothing to be proud of.

Obviously I know my sal is above average but ofc not the highest either, I thought that the was point of the board - to share what you've accomplished.

I know I worked my ass off pretty damn hard to get to where I am, that's why I also am proud to share it.
Ignore haters, they cannot see people good one, deep in the well

I think that's a very good salary for someone like you. Considering you're most likely unemployed

Sorry if the truth hurts

you know someone is lying hard when they feel the need to constantly go back to "oh your salary lower!" argument.

cope harder.

As stated in a previous reply, no incentive for me to lie at all. Moreover I can't understand the idea that someone would actually post a fake salary and get an ego boost out of it?

I think it's more believable that people would use real salary as an argument because they have the means to back it up. Your logic doesn't make sense.

An analogy: it's like lying and saying my girlfriend is prettier than yours when I don't even have a gf. Wtf? At the end of the day, if that were me I would look back and probably wanna kill my self because that's so far from my reality.
