I am in the tech industry and I would say it's not impossible or uncommon, but definitely not the norm. But yes everyone is right that tech probably got the highest starting pay when compared to the other industries and degree - not hard to get 4.5k to 5k for most grads

Definitely not the norm across most industries also. Everyone is looking to join tech due to the higher salaries.

Ya sure. I also 1 year exp got offered an annual basic package of 180k with Variable Bonuses 4-6 months + stock options.
Just want to let everyone know anything is possible in this forum as long as you feel like posting it.
