Thanks for the kind reply. For 9 years of working experience jumping into UOB as a VP1, what is the likely salary range that I would qualify? Thank you.

It depends on your previous industry experience, skill set (Tech? Compliance? Audit?) and what is your current package (base + how many months of experience)?

With current adjustment. VP1 can reach up to 13k.
But quite unlikely u will get this cap.
The highest range is if your YOE exceeded the expected YOE.
For 9 years I could say around 10k-12k.
Please note that this is for Compliance / Tech, which usually are on the higher spectrum

Not the OP. Wondering how possible is it to obtain 11.5k base with 7 YOE in compliance?

With current adjustment, anything is possible in UOB. $11.5k is a very possible salary. You can choose to believe it or not.

People used to think UOB is a poor paymaster. So they always laugh. But they don’t know.

hi, i'm the guy who keep saying UOB revise salary upwards.

the numbers u quote above is not accurate, after revision you can expect
SVP - 50k
ED - 80k
MD - 100k

not lying. uob used to be a poor pay master but not anymore now.

U can choose to make fun of me. But UOB had undergo a lot of transformation, xpecially after Citibank acquisition. We are becoming like other local banks. Up to u if u want to be believe me.

UOB will shock you. It’s no longer a poor paymaster. It can pay as good as the other local banks and some international banks. I believe it can catch up to JP Morgan soon. Who cares about Jamie Diamond when we have Wee Ee Cheong.

Also, u should ask pple like me, who are current employees. We can tell you the truth. I don’t think anyone outside can tell you like I can. I am very hopeful for UOB, as it had changed a lot.

I think Jamie Diamonds won’t be the best banking CEO. Who will he lose to? I dont think I need to say more. With the upward revision in salary, I think everyone will be very clear.

Sorry, autocorrect. I sell diamonds as a side job. Although I don’t need a side job at all, as we would know with the upward revision in salary.
