js started tgp, ppl here are helpful and friendly
plenty of opportunities to learn
progression is clear and almost confirmed
dont have to compete with others, just have to hit your own kpi to get promoted

Can you explain what the progression is like? Salary increment expecting 3-5% each year and maybe 10% when promotion?

Thanks for the info, I am potentially joining DSTA (not TGP).

Could you elaborate on what you mean by progression is clear and confirmed? e.g. Do you guys have to select a fixed track, like management/technical? and maybe some metrics/kpis used? (no need exact target, just curious about what is important to DSTA to evaluate culture/etc)

Reality check so people don't get scammed: there is nothing to learn but to play office politics. Backstabbing and gaslighting everywhere. Progression is unclear because the good gradings and positions are left exclusively for scholars.

if you’re in dsta, you’ll know that what that person said is true… promotion is based on PL and the SEM course

what do you mean there’s nothing to learn? new hires in TGP constantly go for external training to obtain industrial certifications

yeah, external courses related to jiak liao bee lol.

all training to be scrum masters so that can eye power like all public service do
