How does the first payslip calculation work? I joined the ministry on 25/9, my first payslip is 10/10 and it says from 1/10 to 31/10. But i barely worked a month yet they are paying me >1 month salary.

Regarding this. They pay you for the period you worked in the existing month and the salary for the next during your next pay slip.

what are the chances of getting converted to perm after the 1 year contract? i wouldnt say i did more than im supposed to but also never commit and major f-ups.
currently am 6 months in, review is on 9th month. not sure if i should start looking for other jobs.

I just joined last week to a stat board and from the forum, I realised that there was a $100+ increment? Is this for people who joined from a certain period? And also government wide

Saw openings that have Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer, Executive Engineer....etc. Which one is the lowest title for fresh grad?

fresh grad start from grade 6

6 - AM / E
7 - AM / SE
8 - DM / EE
9 - DM / M / PE
10 - M / SM / SPE / Architect
11 - SM / PM / PA / DD
12 - DD / D
