lol only tip is if you're aiming to get high salary, get out of civil service. no one joins civil service to earn a lot of money, but it's a stable reliable way of making money

A few questions, sry
1. is the performance review period till Oct? Then they review in Nov? When is the date they confirm the ranking roughly?
2. Suppose they confirm the ranking and you tender in dec/jan, you are eligible for pro-rated performance bonus right? but in this case if it's a B, can they rescind it (change from B to C since you are leaving) when you transfer to another dept/ministry/stat board?
3. When you are already emplaced, then you apply for jobs (many show 1 yr contract) in the same ministry, or other ministry/stat board, is your position a confirmed one, or 1 year contract again?

Starting pay
I was offered 4.2k MX13 as a fresh graduate, is this an appropriate salary? Is the salary usually negotiable, considering that my honours classification might change as I haven’t gotten my lastest semester results. My GPA is 0.05 marks away from FCH currently

i was offered 3600 as a mx13 grad 10 years ago. I guess the pay didn't match up to inflation.
Usually they would pay FCH more.

Told to start one week after accepting. Naturally people always tell you to see the job first before deciding if it's worth it instead of making up your mind before starting. Went to work, the pay vs amount of work is not worth.
I am honestly ok with 4k, just not 4k for the amount of responsibility required for the role. Maybe that's why job titles are inflated so you tank more **** shrugs.
