For 1A to 2B usually it’s 1-2 years for each grade. After that around 2-3 years to grade 3. So the best performer usually reaches assistant manager in 5 years. Usually is 7 years roughly.

Many people have left in 2021, and many more are leaving too. It is no secret the aviation business will be bad for next 1-2 years. This is especially so with Omicron variant appearing recently. There was no corporate bonus and increment in 2020 and 2021. If anyone has other offers elsewhere, do consider them.

Yup because too many have resigned. If they don’t hire, work done by people who resigned will be done by staff who stay, and their work will pile up. The staff who stay will be overworked and they too may resign after a while.

Also, not sure who is ok with no corporate bonus and increment.

From other forums, read common feedback that their pay is very low and progression is very slow.

dont waste time joining SIA unless you are SIA scholar.
normal AOs progression damn slow...some take 10-15 years to be a "real" manager.

Just joined SIA with 7 years exp getting placed on G8 with a pay of 7k
