I don’t know about other degree holders but for medical graduates these days, the bare minimum one can earn is around 15K-20K/month as a private GP. This is the absolute bare minimum, assuming you pass your MBBS… and typically people start earning that amount at the age of 30 after you finish the bond with MOHH

Top tier students who become specialist/surgeon can earn even more, so unfortunately 8-10K these days is not a lot.
I don't understand what is your objective here? I believe it is about someone calling others who are earning lesser than 8-10k per month as trash. Everyone has their own lifestyle and if their income is adequate depends on their own needs. But by calling people trash just because they are not earning 8-10k per month is uncalled for.

You guys flatter me. 😊🤭 I never once referenced my "bombastic" words as evidence that I was right. Yet, two "separate people" have now pointed out that my language is on par with having an in-built thesaurus. That isn't the insult you think it is, so thank you!

You are the heavy emoji usage poster right? Here's the question I posed to you which you never answered: Why are you so mediocre compared to your peers? Does it sting that they are all inevitably pivoting towards viewing you as the underachieving charity case you are; someone who will soon fall even further behind in terms of esteem and have to be permanently dropped from the friend group?

So are you the one who says that those who has 10 years working experience but earning less than 160k per annum is thrash? I believe the topic is about this guy who is snobbish guy commented majority of the people as thrash. Only if you are agreeing to that statement then you are motivated to argue.

Isn't that the exact point I was making to the original poster who said everyone who made less than 8-10k are trash? That it is very obvious his (your?) numbers are plucked out of thin air to align with his actual earning ceiling. And that, if he really wanted to be ignorant and snobbish, he should recognise that the true elites earn way more than even he can even dream of.

Thankfully for him, he is always free to come back down to Earth and join me and 90+% of Singaporeans in thinking that people who make a perfectly fine wage in fact aren't trash.

Need I remind you that my "agenda" is to state that 90% of Singaporeans, people earning under 8k, aren't "trash"? Judging by your 'of the streets' writing style, that's you I'm defending buddy. Your friend and/or alter ego here thinks you're trash because 'ur bain nor guud', whereas I do not.

You can literally see people saying (making up) that they are earning 10k a month and saying that 90% of our fellow Singaporeans are loser normies... and the only instances of cringe you noticed are my """big words"""? Hate to break it to you, but the evidence-backed reality is that 90% of Singaporeans who got called trash plus the members of the 10% who prefer not to leap to brain-dead conclusion that millions of people are trash would agree with my POV, making your blind assumption that my stance is unpopular yet another thing you've pulled out of thin air.

Is that the utterly defeated state you've come to? That you are so speechless to defend on every other point I have raised that you have now retreated into making the whole argument about whether you are an alt account or not?

Nothing about the other poster claiming everyone making under 8k is trash, nothing about the MOM data disproving it. Nope, you're so desperate not to take another fat L in life that you have to pretend the only relevant point is whether multiple people are replying or not. Frankly hilarious the state you're in.
