Actually why not easy to go private? I thought once you reach consultant can leave already.
I am not surgeon ( I am actually FM), but I see many specialist leaving in their mid to late 30# (derm, gs, gynaecologist etc..)

Definitely underpaid when you compare with your peers in private.

My friend is easily making almost double of your hubby’s salary as the founding partner psychiatrist in a mental wellness clinic.

Working 5.5 days a week. 9am-5pm from Mon-fri. 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
