No max quota. Min quota is 40 I think.
All patients have to be seen by end of the day. Last registration is at 430pm

Do patients usually have multiple complaints? If so then it makes the situation worse... can feel the stress...

Very often. Don't all patients?
Polyclinic is a high stress high volume of patients environment. You need to see fast and efficiently with as usual zero mistakes.
All kinds of cases. Pediatric. Geriartric. Trauma. Chronic disease management. Psychiatric conditions tend to be less common in Polyclinic though.

Once again thank you so much for your sharing... hv gained much insight into life in polyclinic, seems the regular working hours cannot balance the time stress in the daily practice :0

Really?
That's not much more than those Family Doctors with GDFM.
And I am referring to the pay scales more than 10 years ago!

The market dictates the price.
Because pte practice for gps are no longer as great as it once was
It is harder and harder for gp to be their own boss.
Rental consumables TPA are taking a toll on pte gp
So must as well stay in public sector for docs.
At very least no need to be slaves of TPA
