OP here, thanks for the responses. But covid's pretty bad in the UK and heard that it's affecting NQ salary? Can anyone shed some light?

Different topic but related to family law, gender equality and relationship norms.
Just read the news about the impending split between the gates couple.

Surprised, but it makes me feel less horrified that an ex gf in law decided to break up with me at my lowest point in life. She is earning $15k while I’m at $6k even thought we have same Pqe.

Not sure why people don’t stay together these days. If any, I think family law would continue to thrive.

Seems like NQ pay has been restored at most places and they are even handing out small covid bonuses.

Qualify at MC, jump ship to W&C, L&W, Milbank, and relocate back to SG.

Demoralised trainee from small firm. Uncertain of part b and retention and prospects in this field in the long run. Is it better just applying for alternative careers at this point

Worse with COVID.

The UK is xenophobic (think Brexit). You will likely be called a chink.
