today one my friend resigned

he worked in accenture for 3 years

he told me in this 3 years his salary didnt increase much, he say only $100 increment since the day he joined

He is disappointed, he didnt even wait for year end promotion or bonus, and he just left

I was quite sad

I think he is level 10

Thrown into cold palace, that is the best option for him and find somewhere else that appreciate his skillset

This is true.
Usually analyst -> senior analyst take 1.5 yrs for avg performer.
But senior Analyst -> consultant really depend.
If below avg performer can be stuck at senior analyst for years and thrown around projects, eventually people will quit and look for better exit opportunities.

Alot of cui analysts stay for 3 years plus with no promotion to senior analyst as well. They usually are heads down and work kind, then silently hope their bosses will promote them.
