Which is total untrue! If you read company news, you will Accenture has fired 10+K staff in India and China, and they also froze some promotion and salary increment globally.

Now we are stucked at this fking 5.4k ( new analyst pay) until new promotion which is not guaranteed. WTF is this BS
Not happy feel free to quit. The door is there, notice period is 1 month.
Back in my days as an analyst pay was only 3.8k

Can those who exited the firm share what kind of exit opportunities there are?

As a CL9

Hahah same as me! I’m not sure if it’s a generation thing but I totally agree with you. I mean some people like to use resignation as a leverage to threaten their bosses for promotion/higher pay. While I think it’s perfectly fine to do that, most people overestimate their capabilities and their value to the firm. I truly believe that everyone is replaceable at the end of the day and empty threats like that are really insignificant to the business.

Depends on your role. For the functional folks, most of them moved onto do tech sales, PMO, scrum master or product management. The rest of them took up consulting stints in big strategy houses.

Is Citibank middle office role in consumer banking better or tech consulting in Accenture?

In Accenture your direct boss don’t even have much say in your promotion. There is many factors contributing to the decision.
I think many fresh graduates now simply over estimate themselves. Reach office after 10am, have 2hrs lunch break and expect to leave office 6pm on the dot WHILE still expecting to get promoted every cycle!
Back in my days I don’t even dare to leave the office before my project lead and direct boss leave office, which is usually around ~9pm.
And of course I reach office before then at ~7:45am
