And please la. You think sit in office for 12 hours 6 days per week will be effective.

All mental productivity study tells us your productivity drops after few hours.

So you overtime tonight? Big ****ing deal. Tomorrow you come to work in morning or noon won't be productive.. Do you see doctor still open their clinic way pass 9 pm.

Don't be dumb and buy into the idea of overtime.
the reality is we as employee dont have a say, we can only quit if we dont like it. customer dont want to pay more because they know someone else can offer cheaper, and big companies only see you as a chess piece to max profit.. sadly in sg, people still see OT as being hardworking.. haizz

Yes this is my first job. So?
Those side income are not traceable by paper. No business. No cpf.
No income tax. Unless I declare. Which I usually do..

So in legal terms, its really not an employment outside of the full time.
And no. I see so many employee, they share holder of another company. Or partner of another company....

Or owner of coffee shop etc. Its allowed. As long as its not competiting entity.
Also to prevent things like you channel company fund into your own company...

Mine is non of that.. There is no legal obligation...

Don't have such rule le. I see school teachers can also give private tuition...
I see engineers can still be part time fitness trainer..
I see worker can still part time you tuber earn adv money...

I see immigrant worker can still write poem and host cultural art show etc. That Indian or Bangladeshi immigrant construction worker part time poet in Singapore..

I also know some software developer, part time have their own android app or casual game indie...
Just because you only know how to work 1 job doesn't mean there isn't those hardworking people out there who work multiple jobs...

Including grab delivery..

You know what is extra income? With my current arrangement I can earn 2k from this side gig.

So plus Accenture 5k offer. I get 7k per month.
Nothing wrong with that. I just can't stay after 6pm point blank period.

Both local and foreign workers in Singapore are protected from excessive working hours under the Employment Act (EA). They should not be contractually required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week. ... Even when such exemptions are granted, employers should not compel employees to work overtime.

Go read up employment act. I suggest you to know your rights.
Record evidence. Email whatapps message if your boss force you to work overtime and no overtime pay...

Don't be dumb ass like this people here who act overtime as norm.

You don't know your own rights. It's your own fault.
This is how modern day slavery happens.

Can't blame you. You are conditioned into accepting overtime.
It's the same as why maids don't straight away go to police or report when their mom/sir abuse them...

Wneh they let the abuse take place until they die?
Think...

You want to work overtime until you die. Go ahead.
I walk out of the office at 6 pm. Period point blank. If anything urgent. Sure come office at 6 am and talk to me.
