Can't blame you. You are conditioned into accepting overtime.
It's the same as why maids don't straight away go to police or report when their mom/sir abuse them...
Wneh they let the abuse take place until they die?
Think...
You want to work overtime until you die. Go ahead.
I walk out of the office at 6 pm. Period point blank. If anything urgent. Sure come office at 6 am and talk to me.

Lol go ahead. Obviously never work one day before in the real world, think so idealistically. Will wait for you to leave office at 6pm and come back to complain when feedback on your performance is negative and you get 0 bonus

All you spineless creature.
Cnn just reported goldnan Sachs their first year junior analyst reported inhumane 95 hours work week.
That's 15 hours for 6 days. Or 13 hours for 7 days...
Only juniors etc. Will stand up for their right.
Overtime sure. None of you are even awake working at this hour..
Overtime is just ******** la.
If you start work at 6 am to 6pm that's 12 hours there.
All you lazy analyst only start work at 9 am. After breakfast etc. 930 am only mental. Block work..
You work until 930 pm is also not counted as overtime if someone else work at 6 am to 6 pm...
Nut jobs.

Agreed. It's like those students complaining about their prokect work and assignments but it's given 2 months to work on it. But they only work 1 week before.
Lazy students become lazy worker.

Below average company bet below average jobs.
Makes below average profit.
Can only afford to hire below average employees.
Who then complain about their salary and bonus below average.
Welcome to the world of below averages.

If you need to overtime to do something which Bob can finish within office hours and still have work life balance...
I would say Bob deserve the bonus because he performed well.
On the other hand, you struggle and overtime and delay in schedule... You don't deserved bonus because your performance sucks...
Only dumb ass equate overtime = bonus. That's the wrong way of thinking. Performance bonus means how well you perform at your work. You finish 1 module in 3 working hours say compared to Jill who work on 1 module for 3 months overtime and still can't finish....
Please. I have worked in many different tech companies. People who overtime etc... They all start work very late... We have one guy who act like super star everyday go home 930 pm to claim overtime pay and free transport... He only start work like 10 am and even then we all can see he just idling in front of the computer in the morning...
Only after lunch be do some work. But still can't finish then tea break cause very tired.
When people leave to go home to rest, he pretend hardworking leave later... But it's only to claim overtime.
Cause he overtime still can't finish..
Everybody knows in tech world, you do things in sprint and blocks... As if staying back for 15 min after official work will miraculously solve the bug that you been staring at for 8 hours...
Yeah pig can flies too
