Are you implying that all candidates will be put through this reference check then?

My referee was contacted. I believe chances are very very high.

I think that is probably the longest it can stretch to. If yours is urgent, it may not take that long. Mine took less than two months.

Hello, wondering 1) how long does it take for MSF to check HR admin procedures and 2) what are the steps involved? Steps wise, is it clearance from hiring department > reference check > offer of appointment > medical checkup > security clearance? Current status: HR drafting the offer of appointment. Would also like to ask, 3) what is the earliest date (e.g. 1 week from medical checkup if security clearance can be done while in service, 2 weeks after security clearance etc.) that I am most likely able to start work? Possible before mid July? Fresh grad so no need notice period. I am also wondering if I should continue going for interviews or just sit back and relax? Thanks in advance!

Hi, which role did you apply for? Have you gone for any medical check up or did hr share with you the salary package and all?

Thank you for replying! I applied to an executive role. Nope the HR just completed the reference check and is drafting and seeking approval for my appointment. Hence HR has yet to share with me the salary package. Wondering 1) how long would all these approval (for my appointment) take, and 2) if there is any other mandated waiting time between medical check-up and first day of service? The reference check took quite long and I’m wondering if the rest of the process willl require another few weeks? Hahahaha rested long enough and I’m very eager to start work. xD Also wondering if I should continue attending interviews at this stage? Thanks in advance.

Hi, to be honest starting work in mid july is hard as the medical check up and security clearance would take some time unless your position is required urgently. I would say your chance of getting this job is high provided there is no hiccups on their side. May i check when did you attend the interview? And when did they get back to you?

Thank you for the reply! I see. Hopefully I can start before Aug. On the date of interview, I attended in mid-late May, they got back to me mid June. Around 3 weeks of wait time with an informal chat sharing on the responsibilities of the role during those 3 weeks. Thanks!

I got my interview in 1st week of Nov, offer came in one week later, package came in 3 weeks later. ps approval came in 5 weeks later around end December. Medical came in Jan, started work on 3rd week of Feb.

Think you might start in Aug or Sep earliest. Gd Luck!
