Guys can ask, especially for fresh grad from NTU/ NUS/ SMU,
Who recommended you all to do accounting? Lol
For me it was older friends who said it was a good professional degree, but later on, the pay is not commensurate with the A levels required to get in
Other 3A/As courses seem to be paying better

Accountancy is a BBC/C course.
You should not be comparing the package with 3As courses.

Things move super fast in Singapore. Acc was indeed an AAA/A course 13 yrs ago.
Rmb Philip Ng life sciences push? Also AAA course then. What happened now?
Bear in mind 13 years ago was iPhone 3G, whatsapp haven't come out yet, just finish GFC.
No point taking back to the past. Thousands of bright A lvl grads have been conned over the years, work so hard in nus smu ntu, in the end same job that jhk can do
