If they willing to slave for them for a few years, get Big 4 printed on their resume...would give them a new lease of life to join other MNCs later

This is True, i had a fren who studied a 2 years accountancy degree pgrm in SUSS and thereafter worked in Big 4 for 6 years + Told me that when he graduated from SUSS at age of 23, all 20+ jobs he applied for rejected him but only Big 4 gave him a job offer as they can sense his determination in his interview (willing to work long hours). He told me his last drawn pay is 6K+ basic pay in Big 4 (I saw his payslip)
Got a 20%+ pay hike (sighted his job offer) when he joined an MNC as Senior Mgr to do FP&A after his 6 years in Big 4. I reckoned he is earning ~ 120K per annum (with bonus included) now.
Unlike me, I did okay for my A level and got into Big 3 Local Uni and did a 4 year honors degree.
As compared to him, I spent 2 more years for my uni tutition fees, opportunity cost of losing 2 year income.
End up just only hitting close to 90K p.a. at the same age as him at 29 years old.

Your fren has no much brain to consider to slave 6 years there and end up only earning 6K+ after 6 YOE. Thereafter making only 120K P.A at the age close to 30?!
Okay, u r even more loser than him who can't even hit 100K p.a at age close to 30.

Suss acc is 4 years bro. Fastest track is A levels + NTU, or Poly acc + SIT acc. Both will lead to a degree in 5 years total. I haven't seen any SIT partners in big 4 though

Honestly don’t have to look down on self and compare with others
If really want compare, those who are forward looking /just lucky and got in tech sales were earning huge bonuses with good WLB and laughing at all “high finance” bros. While the high finance ppl laughing at accountants
I have encountered this colleague who took masters in overseas uni and end up joining audit in big 4. The parent’s money, time and effort spent on the child, just for joining audit where any Jhk candidates are eligible
If you always compare, your life is gonna be miserable
