Q: Big4 - Yearly salary increment

Well in general, Big 4 pays very poorly for the first 1-6 years of your career.

I suffered initially, but now able to have a good work balance working only 50 hrs/week while still making a modest sum.

There is still no lack of fresh grad who still want to join us and willing to slave for my team.

It is the rite of passage for Bug 4 auditors, all have to suffer first.

Of course, if you belong to elite. Dont bother join Big 4. This route is for the really medicore ppl to still have a career path to make expected 200K p.a at age of 40.

Nowaday, still got fresh grad want to work long hours for meagre pay?

I know of a lot of people already making 200-300K p.a at age of 30

Age 40 is director/partner level already lol.

Director = 16k * 17 months (yes, directors get about 5-6 months bonus) = 272k pa
Partner = above 300k

This guy should be a poor performer.

If this is widespread, big 4 can gg in 5-10 years time, bottom to top all mediocre performers

I am not OP.

But i think a medicore Big 4 auditor with 13 YOE (assume Snr mgr) can easily earn 12K per month with abt 3 month bonus.

If you are above avg , 13 YOE can be a director making basic 16K per month already

No wonder inflation so high. Mediocre people also can earn more than 10k and suka suka buy things.
