i quit because being under paid at 20-30 is the worst. You have no family at 20 where u need money to hang out with friends, enjoy life. You need money in your early 30s to build your family.
Can’t stand the life of auditors … no personal life… in my department the dude reaching 45 and still a director ..
What’s the pt of big money at that time ? Your kids probably independent if u ever have time for one while trying to make partner

Need inputs.
PwC tax vs EY tax.
Which is better in terms of culture, environment or just in general?
Also, anyone knows the pay progression for both?

Is it better to start in big 4 as an audit associate or start in commercial as a finance executive after graduation, if I want to pursue a career in finance?

This question is like asking someone whether to pick dog shi*t or cow dung for dinner. TLDR both are trash

if u go big4 audit and leave after 2 years to join commercial, u will still get downgraded in terms of rank. in my company's fp&a department(commercial), many don't come from big 4 and are not from accounting backgorund

Just curious, what courses were your FP&A colleagues from back in university?
So in order to work in FP&A, we can just start in commercial FP&A straight?
