however my hiring manager is not jhk. they also from local u
probably my dept not as bad as external audit bah.

no point arguing
if you guys have to argue about who is a jhk or not, it just means that audit is low value sector, has low barrier to entry, and un-prestigious. whether you're a jhk or not is irrelevant, since you're the same level as them doing the same job even if you're a sinkie.
u dont see other sectors like investment banking, law or managment consulting fretting over jhk flooding into their industry right? cos jhks cant make the cut.

Tho risk advisory aren't any better, it has lesser jhk than EA.

It seems like these people are jhk crying because they didn't manage to get FCH from local uni.
Most likely they are from tonkotsu ramen uni / ACCA trying to put down our locals to feel better here.
It's pretty true. Those msians in my uni so cui cannot even get 2nd upper.

Lmao. As people hv said above, that's irrelevant.
Whether they're jhk or not. Whether their degree is 2nd lower from tonkotsu abdul ramen uni or SUNWAY uni. Doesn't matter.
The fact is: you as a local are doing EXACTLY the same job as them. you are getting paid EXACTLY the same payscale as them. If you're fch from local u, its even more siasuay then.
If you were really good, you'd find a way to get out of audit into a better paying & more prestigious role. Then all your complaints about jhk would immediately become obsolete.
