Where do most auditors go to, if they are not on partner track?
Am just wistful for my friend, he had a double degree in accounting and computing, but he dropped the computing because he thought then, it would be prudent to just focus on accounting. We graduated 6-7 years ago.
Today, he’s a finance manager/equivalent and earning far less than his JC peers. I just felt sad for him because he was PCME with H3 physics, so I always saw him as a prodigy.

ya outsourced to indonesian or malaysian branches. so far all firms seem to be going to this direction, due to not wanting to pay 4k and above for audit staff. time to advise your juniors to not study accounting anymore, gone are the good old days of zero joblessness. SG truly is the US of the east.

My friend based in an mnc here and who interacts with accounting as part of his job told me that
AP/AR/PAYROLL have been entirely outsourced overseas.
Is this true??

Ap give india.. ar my or in house.. hr is outsource local.. they need understand local regulations.. it common now.
