join big4, grind a few years but dont waste your time there. spend your time fruitfully to complete all the other qualifications CPA, CFA, CIA, CVA, FRM and then 3 years later you can go to any company you want within finance

that's the thing. If you join B4, honours don't matter cos even jhk jollibees can do it
so grind so hard in uni for fch is really bo hua. just slack off can liao. even private degree is ok
if you grind in uni and managed to get fch, then joining B4 is a waste. you should be leveraging fch for far better paying roles. only kum gong will join B4 as fch

Ya but job market bad also...
MBB / accenture very hard to go in also..
and i dont like corporate finance / IB....
Most other firms want 2 yr experience.
Idk where i can go...
But the truth is in big4 i feel the jhk is really dumb.
Not stereotyping, but i just join in, i can see how dumb they are...

u everything useless but dont want to work harder to get what the jhk cannot get. dont have any better skill than them or knowledge. then end of the day blame yourself lor
with that attitude, you arent any better than jhks anyway. you deserve to be put in the same pool as them in the shitty role
