Hi I am a year 2 audit associate. Current looking out for portfolio management roles in top tier hedge funds such as Point72, BlackRock or Jane Street. Anyone is able to refer me into these roles or have any tips to break into high finance?

for auditors, i think fp&a in a Temasek linked company is more realistic la. try keppel FELS or sembcorp. stop dreaming about roles beyond your station

To be honest, I have never been this before. Instead I have seen friends/acquaintances leave and join other industries: pilot, insurance agent, property agent, stat boards, funeral parlour, open business, etc.

Yes. It is hopeless. Unless you go back do a relevant masters and try all over again with the application to be entry level.
