You guys know top tier BBs pay 11-12k base for FO roles right? Yeah, the Average Joe will need to work 5-10 years to reach that pay range, but it is what it is. If you can add value (in terms of winning business), you’d be rewarded. High $ = High Stress = Long working hours/High KPIs. 90k is probably for a non-IB/GM role if it’s BB FO (think WM/AM/TB)

The reason he is comparing eating food with salary is simple, the salary is as believable as the food, if you can't comprehend that, you probably are too dumb to earn 90k. If you really cannot believe a fresh grad is earning 90k, I am sorry for you. You must be in the lowest of tiers.
