just wondering peeps, if I start work in Nov 15, will I be able to get any pro-rated increment in March/April, or do I have to wait till one full year, and will only get my increment in March/April 17. Thanks!

Minimum of 6 months is required for appraisal. No grade or point will be given to you and hence there will be no pro-rated increment in mar / apr 16

Anyone did not get the contract renewed after 2 years? Is the job really secure I wonder....

ofcourse, if you don't do well, your contract will not be renewed. Even open contract is not secure.

What is a rating of 4? I've never seen ratings given to me. I am in the PAX scheme. We get grades.

Number based rating is used by the poly in the east. Rating 4 is consider good, 5 is very good, 6 is very very good, 7 is top of the league. 3 is average, 2 is below average, 1 is WTH are u doing here.

I have gotten "Very Good" for this year. Hence is it consider a C grader?
