from my recent interview experiences, the quickest reply i had was few days after interview and the longest was a month after.
so i guess it depends if you are the no.1 candidate on the list

Its a bit weird they quoted me low 3k when their salary posted was in the high 3k to 5k range. Why did they put that amount if they going to offer a much lower salary? Misleading

very realistic .... with a few promotions and increment should be able to hit 5k no issues.
bear in the mind tho, increments are usually 2.5% + $30 a year and I'm not sure how much promotion increment is ....
5k in 10 years is definitely doable, however, most people can easily get more than 5k in 10 years. are u happy earning median income in 10 years?
promotion really depends on your RO and the cluster you're working for. Some hosps/dept tend to promote based on your age, some promote based on what your time is up.
typically to be promoted it takes around 2 years per grade.

thanks for the information. Based on 2.5%, that’s lesser than $100/year. My current role in private sector has no hc for permanent position, so I’m inclined to take the new offer. When you say 2years/grade, it means promoting from exec>senior exec? That sounds pretty quick.
Also, I heard that the bonus is around 3months, which is good enough for me.

promotion is between 100-150 a year. yes bonus is ranges from 2.25-3 months. Of course, the higher grade you are the money increases. Just don't expect too much.
yes exec>senior exec is 2 years. The problem is when u start gunning for managerial positions, if you stay in 1 cluster, can easily take 10 years.
mind you, when u hop between clusters, they'll only match your last drawn and no pay raise to discourage poaching.

Not aiming for managerial position and I am comfortable to stay as senior executive as long as there’s increment every year. By any chance, do you know why is the probation so long? What are the chances of failing probation?
Big thanks for your help, I will be accepting the hospital’s offer and if all goes well, will be joining next month!

Which gender is better? Do guys do better as there a fewer male pharmacists? Or is the reverse true that girls do better as most of the heads are females?
