Yeah agree, not all EDs are bad. If people cheer went he go promoted, means he must really be nice. Most EDs are nice, including HR one .

R u incoming intern or new hire? Haha. If u r existing employee you should have an idea from own observation. Not all do’s and donts are written down.

My answer (not hr) is guiding principle is whether the overall look fits the seriousness of the office and the position u r coming in as. Once upon a time, certain types of attire were frowned upon. Now, with dress down, such attire are more commonly seen. But people exercise some sense if they r meeting external parties.

So if you’re new, suggest u come in first and observe before attracting attention for the wrong reasons

Yeah, u will find that this place is not a very open minded place but rather can be stiff at times..so please start off from the conservative angle, it's safer that way, ahahahahaha......
