How does the XT XC scheme compare to the MX scheme ah? I actually never understood what level is to what level. Is it fresh graduates come in at XT5 = MX13?

Not true leh. I have been getting less than 5% increment as a XT6 for so many years.
This is so unfair?!?
And my starting pay is lower than the newer incoming staff already. What is going on??

Within C got different levels meh?

And also, is your increment per year same % for all the C graders?

Should be slightly different for different divisions based on division performance. But should not differ much for lower grade officers.

XT6
B - 2.93
C - 1.8 -2.0

XT7
B -
C -

really feel like kena scammed. only to make base pay look higher so can get fresh grads to join.
salary = x
bonus multiplier = y

before split,
annual salary = 12x + x + xy = 13x + xy

after split,
salary = (13/12)x
annual salary = 12(13/12)x + (13/12)xy = 13x + (13/12)xy

if maintain overall package assumption is right, then
if bonus (2022) = 3.22 = xy
bonus (2023) =
3.22xy = (13/12)x(new y)
new y = 2.97

so yes i guess 2.93 is about there. in fact slightly lower 😅 probably to offset civil bonus too
if the annual increment quantum is not increased (to make up the 13th month),
then it’s essentially a decrement packaged as an “increment”

5%, but cos not full year, prorated to 3.5%. Did clarify that others got 5% or close to that thou.

Ot maybe your salary is higher, and they gave a fixed increment amount?

Actually the increment quantum should be the same across salary grade and performance grade.

if you’re XT6 with performance grade B, whether you earn $5k or $8k, you should be getting the same eg $500 increment. That’s why there’s a difference in %.

To give a % annual increment would be unfair to people with difference honors / different gender (those with additional NS pay). Only those one time ad hoc salary revisions are based on %. Annual increments are fixed quantum, unless you have hit salary ceiling

annual increment is never a fix percentage. whoever says 5% yearly doesn't know the reality. once your salary is near to the max of your grade, your percentage will starts to drop. thats how c grade is always around 3% to 5%
