That is true. Even the most underperforming and useless associates are going to get promoted first and faster than the best normal hires. They have to promote the entire batch to XT7 even though most of them did not deserve it.

They have to justify paying these kids +$500 to +$1000 every month. Not to forget there was a huge glut of associates in 2019 and 2020 and 2021. Only in 2022 they started clamping down. But they still need to promote these bunch of people, who more than 50% geh siao. Real work still done by the farmers who will never be equally treated.

xt6 here and current drawing 8.8k. last year increment was nowhere near 5% but still decent. suppose to hit ceiling soon and nowhere near to promotion. Check with HR about this and they say there is no ceiling?? Is that true? they do mention the ceiling was just some guideline but not strictly enforced?
