Yes. On average, 2.5 to 4 months while high performers get in excess of 5 to 6 months. Much like banks and other private sector companies

2 years contract

Is this a reasonable offer? Is there any room for negotiation (to 3800)?
Is it normal for fresh grads to get 2 year contracts, and not perm positions? Or is it just because of the covid situation?

Thanks!
It's already on the high side already for MSF. Not much room for upwards nego i think, prob 3.6ish max. Quite a good one given current climate considering you're fresh grad. Good luck!

its a good offer unlikely any room for offer and all new hires (including more senior appointments e.g. even SAD/DD/Dirs) are on contract terms. perm will come eventually.

i think its civil/public service hiring policy. many years already. new hires all on contract basis, pass probation, dont screw up, then perm (timeline varies).

Does MSF generally pay lower than other ministries?

Yes can confirm.

If you put aside specialist tracks on Govtech, MTI Economist etc.
MAS graduate officers are easily on the upper scale compared to their peers.
