Depends on whether they value your experience. Higher chance with statutory boards, much lower chance for ministries. Otherwise, they will just offer your a salary based on their formula.

Whats your profile? I think the ministry focuses a lot more on base profile and will pay you based on that. Then it will be contained within the range of the roleís pay grade too

If you are a recent grad (in last 5 years), then it will be really hard since you see people with degree are also not offered that amount.

The civil service, although it sounds unfair, pays a premium to the highest achieving university graduates than recent experienced hires (<3 experience)

Understand y ppl from Economic Agencies are paid more, since you guys bring in the business and money. Without money, we won't be able to talk about defence, education, health etc
Typically 17-18 month package, with the variable on personal performance

What is the ceiling for MX12?

Thanks!!!
I guess you are the 4+3 33yo overseas grad? Mine sharing with us your uni profile and what kind of role that is - admin or engineer? I canít advise for the MX Scheme, but 5k sounds reasonable. Bear in mind again that they tend to pay a bit more premium for local, ivy leagues in US or top schs like Oxbridge Imperial and UCL LSE those type of schools or top aus uni like ANU Uni of Melb.

As for BCA tier, they are under MND, i would say tier 2? I donít know how people rate according to tiers but it really seems like economic and finance power houses sre tier 1 due to their status that someone highlighted few posts earlier.

Anyway specialised scheme gets paid more, like engineers, so it would be good if you can share the type of role and your uni profile (degree class/ grp of uni).

But 5k seeems fair.

Don't think so. You're also a non-grad so you wont be considered or promoted on the same level.
