Looking at the replies here I am glad I jumped out of civil service. Not that it is a bad place to be, but if I stayed on I would likely only be MX11 with 9 years of experience and drawing about 100k salary.
I joined in 2010 as my first career and left in 2014, to a semi-private sector. When I left I was MX12.
Now I draw more than 170k p.a. which is definitely far more than I would have in the civil service. That salary is probably a high MX10 or the tail end of MX9.

Just curious. How much increment when promoted for MSO? Can give a range?
What is your current salary range now? If I not wrong u should be similar pay range as so called mx12 fresh grad already. Why hanker for that job grade only?
Did u check with your RO what is your CEP now? Most diploma holder CEP stop at MX12.
Only those very good ones maybe MX 11

It was supposed to, because it could have adverse reaction if told that they are reaching their CEP
