Fresh grads come in at MX13. Don’t think you’d get the same grade.

not sure about ministry. my friend (poly grad) in finance with 8yrs exp joined a SB recently and was offer a job grade that is lower than a fresh grad. but his pay is 4.1, higher than a typical fch grad in his SB.

Can anyone share the salary range of mx 11, mx 11a, mx10 and mx9 for hase or similar schemes?

As for BCA tier, they are under MND, i would say tier 2? I don’t know how people rate according to tiers but it really seems like economic and finance power houses sre tier 1 due to their status that someone highlighted few posts earlier.

Anyway specialised scheme gets paid more, like engineers, so it would be good if you can share the type of role and your uni profile (degree class/ grp of uni).

But 5k seeems fair.

thanks for the reply. I was on the those 1.5 yrs Bachelor (Due to my NYP diploma) + 1 yr Masters programme in Uni of Queensland, Australia (guess is one of those top Aus Uni)

I'm with a tech programme office working on innovation due to my previous job's innovation exp. I think i'm on the normal Admin MX scheme.

Am applying for a lead/senior lead position at EDB.
Wonder what rank is this. Unsure if my asking salary match the offered range.
Any advice?

The thing is civil servant (may stat board can pay more because of their independent pay structure) starting is usually benchmarked on your Bachelor degree instead of Masters because they don't pay it if the job doesn't not ask for it (ie., specifically stated in the JD). So i think they might emplace you on a normal scale after accounting for your masters, and then top you up based on your experience. But again i think 5000++ is good rate, considering a FCH + 3-5 years should get around that figure too!
