probably want to ask the specialists in your field directly. since you are so prolific and speak regularly at conferences, surely you would know some singaporean specialists in your field and you can just ask them directly

Yeah I recognize that most on this forum are disenfranchised physicians but looking for the more genuine replies who have maybe gone through a similar experience. Not looking to get a supervising physician in this forum of course.

Unfortunately, there aren't too many SG specialists invited to speak at the American conferences, as it is a bit of a circle jerk / Americans tend to be egocentric.

I did get a chance to meet several younger ACs when I visited SG recently. They are local NUS grads so don't quite know the process of going about getting licensed as a foreign trained however.

Top 5 universities in the US/World. Ferrari and Toyota both get you to the same destination, but there will be drivers who are willing to pay more for the experience.

I don't think I'm competing for the same patient population as most GPs / polyclinics anyway, so rest assured I'm not going to steal your rice bowl.

Family reasons.

I can already live off my investments so money is not a motivator anymore. It is simply a tool that buys me convenience.

I recognize I am on a salary forum of course. However, because every response is anonymous, I hope that my fellow physicians are more willing to share useful information (like Fishbowl).

Can I ask in general how significant is profit sharing in private gp land?

For example, I have a friend getting offered a similar basic as me, but has no aws, and no bonus (my group pays a variable bonus of 1-2 months in addition to aws); instead he was offered 5% profit sharing for 1st 5 years then 10% after.

I.e the profit sharing is the bonus la (but just wondering how much is 5-10% profit sharing worth in general)

Take bonus and aws
Profit is....variable.
I own a business, I will minimise profit.
Director fee, amortise fix cost and what not all reduce profit so I don't pay so much tax.

Should ask for 5 percent of revenue. Ahaha
Or a payout that is kpi dependent
Eg grow the chronic disease population
Grow the health screening packages sold
Also 5 percent is a pittance.

500k profit only 25k lei ( means revenue maybe 1 million)
Like aws only.
