Can I ask in general how significant is profit sharing in private gp land?

For example, I have a friend getting offered a similar basic as me, but has no aws, and no bonus (my group pays a variable bonus of 1-2 months in addition to aws); instead he was offered 5% profit sharing for 1st 5 years then 10% after.

I.e the profit sharing is the bonus la (but just wondering how much is 5-10% profit sharing worth in general)
